Flora Harley is Partner and Head of Energy and Sustainability Research at Knight Frank, based in London. She leads the firm’s research strategy across energy infrastructure and sustainability in real estate, applying a data-led and system-wide approach to understand how decisions across the energy chain and the built environment influence property markets, investment strategies and occupier demand. Her work spans power generation, networks and corporate energy users, alongside the sustainability performance of real estate, with a focus on the interdependencies, risks and opportunities created by the energy transition.
Flora provides insight to investors, developers and occupiers, supporting decision-making through proprietary analysis, market intelligence and thought leadership. She authors a monthly Sustainable Property Insights newsletter and contributes to flagship publications including The Wealth Report and Active Capital, alongside delivering tailored research and client engagement. Flora is a regular speaker at industry events and has been cited in leading publications. She joined Knight Frank in 2017 from KPMG and previously worked in the UK Government, bringing an economics-led perspective to energy and sustainability trends.
