Ben joined Knight Frank in March 2017 as the Joint Head of Institutional Sales, Australia with Paul Roberts based in the Sydney CBD. Ben’s role is heading up the National Institutional Sales team with a particular focus on the sale of major assets within the Sydney CBD and surrounding metropolitan areas. Ben has 14 years’ experience in the property industry, commencing his career in the office valuation team at Colliers International where his focus was on assets such as Grosvenor Place, 1 Bligh Street, 126 Phillip Street and 2 Park Street. In 2009 Ben moved from the valuation team into the commercial agency team focusing on the sale of Institutional grade assets within the Sydney CBD including 35 Clarence Street, Sydney (~$100m). In 2012 Ben moved from Colliers International to JLL in a similar agency role with sales completed including 10 Barrack Street, the Bushells Building, 107 Pitt Street and 16 Spring Street. In 2013 Ben joined the Capital Transactions team at The GPT Group and was responsible for the acquisition and divestment of office and industrial assets across Australia. In this Capital Transactions role, Ben was involved in deals totaling $1.5bn, including the acquisition of Corner of Bourke and William Streets, Melbourne, the acquisition of a 33% interest in 111 Eagle Street, Brisbane and the divestment of The Zenith in Chatswood.
