Paul Trepte is the National Head of Risk and Compliance for Asset Management Services. Paul joined Knight Frank in February 2019 after having moved to Australia from the UK. Paul has over 35 years’ experience within the compliance and risk management arena having worked for several organisations operating within aerospace, automotive, hospitality, energy, property management, construction, and assurance markets. This has included working within Europe for the assurance & certification specialists the BSI Group. Paul’s role is to provide Risk and Compliance support to the Asset Management Services Team and the wider Knight Frank Business. Paul holds several UK qualifications including the NEBOSHH level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, is a graduate member of the UK Institute of Safety & Health, a member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management, an Associate Member of the UK Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and a Chartered Member of the UK Chartered Quality Institute. Before joining Knight Frank, Paul held the position of Group Risk Manager for the Rigby Organisation, within the UK, having previously held the position of Operations Director within one of the group firms. This group had its own portfolio of self-managed property including domestic properties, hotels, retail units, restaurants, theatres, and office blocks. Career highlights have included contributing to a 10% reduction in property & firm insurance premiums through the adoption of effective risk management policies.
