Workshop in Adelaide’s inner east offered to the market

Workshop in Adelaide’s inner east offered to the market

3 mins read

Adelaide, Australia – A workshop property in one of Adelaide’s most tightly held inner eastern pockets has been brought to the market, with its location and flexible zoning offering owner-occupiers, investors and developers a rare opportunity just minutes from the CBD.

The property at 46 North Street in Frewville comprises a workshop with front office accommodation, a rear ancillary shed and wash bay, secure hardstand, and covered roller door access, with 142 sqm of gross floor area on a 399 sqm site.

The property, which is set up for automotive and mechanical operations and has upgraded lighting, is being offered with vacant possession.

Positioned approximately 4.5km from the Adelaide CBD and just off Glen Osmond Road, the site benefits from excellent connectivity while occupying a tightly held location within the City of Burnside.

The property is located within the Business Neighbourhood Zone, which permits a broad range of commercial, retail and low-rise residential uses, providing purchasers with both immediate functionality and longer-term potential.

46 North Street is being taken to the market via an Expressions of Interest campaign run by Knight Frank agents Ned Walter and Harrison Grice.

Mr Walter said opportunities to acquire workshop properties in Adelaide's tightly-held inner eastern precincts were increasingly difficult to find.

“Properties of this nature are rarely offered to the market, particularly in an inner eastern location so close to the CBD and with such strong connectivity,” he said.

“With vacant possession and practical improvements already in place, the property lends itself to a wide range of uses, which we expect will attract strong interest from a broad cross-section of buyers, from owner-occupiers wanting an immediate base to private investors looking at its longer-term potential.”

Mr Grice said the site's flexible zoning and strategic location would attract a broad buyer pool.

“The Business Neighbourhood Zone supports a diverse range of commercial and employment-generating uses, while also providing scope for future redevelopment outcomes, subject to the necessary approvals,” he said.

“Combined with its proximity to Glen Osmond Road, the Adelaide CBD and surrounding residential catchments, we expect strong interest from a range of purchasers seeking a foothold in Adelaide's highly sought-after inner eastern suburbs.”

The Expressions of Interest campaign for the property closes at 4pm (ACDT) on Thursday, November 12, 2026.
