Knight Frank expands Industrial Tenant Representation team with new appointment
05 October 2026
Australia – Knight Frank has appointed Chris Perrone as Associate Director, Tenant Representation –Industrial, further expanding its Industrial Tenant Representation team following the appointment of Richard Trumbull as Partner, Tenant Representation – Industrial last year.
Based in Melbourne, Mr Perrone will work alongside Mr Trumbull to help grow Knight Frank’s offering in the space, providing specialist tenant representation services to businesses seeking industrial and logistics accommodation across Australia.
His role will involve advising industrial occupiers on a range of leasing matters, including property strategy, market testing, site selection, lease negotiations, relocations, renewals and occupancy solutions. It will also involve introducing clients to the broader range of services Knight Frank provides to support occupiers, including portfolio management, project management, development management and property management.
Mr Perrone brings more than a decade of experience spanning commercial property, logistics and business ownership, most recently at uTenant, a property and warehouse matching platform. Having developed a strong understanding of industrial property and the operational requirements of occupiers, he now represents tenants, assisting with their industrial and commercial leasing needs.
Throughout his career, he has worked with organisations ranging from local businesses through to Fortune 500 occupiers, helping them identify, secure and negotiate industrial and commercial space across Australia.
Mr Trumbull said Mr Perrone's appointment marked another important step in the growth of Knight Frank's Industrial Tenant Representation business in Australia.
"Since joining Knight Frank, a key focus has been expanding our capability to provide truly specialist advice to industrial occupiers across the country," he said.
"Chris is a fantastic addition to the team. He has built a reputation for developing strong client relationships, navigating complex negotiations and delivering tailored property outcomes that align with business objectives.
“He brings a unique combination of industrial property expertise, logistics experience and first-hand business ownership experience, which gives him a strong understanding of the challenges our clients face when making property decisions.
"Chris’s approach aligns with Knight Frank, which is putting client outcomes first and taking the time to understand what a business genuinely needs from its property strategy.
"As occupiers continue to navigate changing market conditions, having experienced advisers who can help identify opportunities, create competitive tension and negotiate with the occupiers’ best interests at the forefront is becoming increasingly important.
“Chris will play a key role in helping us meet that demand and continue growing our Industrial Tenant Representation offering nationally."
Mr Perrone said he was excited to join Knight Frank and work alongside Mr Trumbull in building the firm's Industrial Tenant Representation platform.
"Over the years, I've developed a strong understanding of industrial property and the logistics industry, which has given me a real appreciation of what businesses need from their space," he said.
"I enjoy bringing the right people together, navigating negotiations and delivering outcomes that work for everyone involved. For me, relationships matter, and I've always believed that being honest, reliable and doing what you say you'll do goes a long way.
"Knight Frank has built an exceptional reputation across the industrial sector, and the opportunity to work alongside Richard and the broader occupier team was a major drawcard for me."
"I'm looking forward to helping grow the Tenant Representation business and supporting occupiers across Australia to make informed property decisions that enable their businesses to succeed and grow."
