Knight Frank appoints Former Wallaby Star, Dan Vickerman

07 August 2013

Knight Frank is building its Office Leasing team in Sydney with the appointment of veteran Wallaby rugby union star, Daniel Vickerman, as the Major Project Office Leasing Executive.

Mr Vickerman’s newly created role will focus on growing Knight Frank’s Office Leasing business in the top end Sydney CBD and North Shore markets.

Mr Vickerman will work closely with Knight Frank’s Major Project Office Leasing Director, Kymbal Dunne to provide support on premium developments and listings for office spaces over 5,000 square metres.

In 2008, Mr Vickerman left a successful 10 year international sporting career to attend the University of Cambridge in the UK and complete a degree and post-graduation in Property. Following his graduation, Mr Vickerman worked at KPMG before joining Knight Frank.

“We are excited to have Dan join us at Knight Frank. His stellar rugby career, combined with his degree in property from Cambridge University, outgoing personality and determination will provide Dan a solid platform for this role. I have absolutely no doubt he will be extremely successful in the property industry,” said Knight Frank’s Richard Horne, Managing Director, NSW.

“He will add an extra dimension to our Sydney CBD Office leasing team, which has seen significant growth this year. In this weak occupier market, owners are actively looking for solutions for their space. I am confident that Dan’s extensive contact base and ability to look at things with a fresh approach will add significant value to any leasing appointment,” added Mr Horne.
