Since joining Knight Frank in 2017, Paul has assumed various senior positions, including Head of Institutional Sales Australia which he held jointly with Ben Schubert before being promoted to National Head of Capital Markets in 2020 where his responsibility was to the Institutional Sales, Investment Sales & Asian Markets service lines. In 2021, Paul was promoted to National Head of Agency where he remains responsible for the Institutional Sales, Investment Sales and Asian Markets divisions along with Leasing and Industrial Logistics. Paul continues to focus on the sale of major assets within the Sydney CBD, surrounding metropolitan areas and all National CBD markets.

With over 17 years’ experience in the property industry, Paul brings a unique perspective to his role in institutional sales. Paul began work as a commercial property valuer, before making the switch to the institutional client side in 2005 and held the roles of Commercial and Industrial Capital Transaction Manager at Lendlease before moving to Dexus as Head of Capital Transactions in 2010. In 2013 Paul transitioned into the role of Fund Manager of the $4bn Dexus office partnership office fund, where he was responsible for establishing and implementing the fund strategy on behalf of its investors; 50% dexus balance sheet and 50% international pension fund who have in excess of $300bn invested worldwide.

In his Capital Transactions role, Paul was involved in deals exceeding $5bn, including fund-through transactions of large commercial development sites and major portfolio deals including the acquisition of DPIF, and the acquisition and delisting of the CPA Office Fund (now known as the dexus office partnership). Paul acquired significant value add, trading assets on behalf of the group which were subsequently refurbished, released and on sold to generate profits. His ability to pitch to both Fund Manager and Investment Committees and understand an assets fundamental value, coupled with the ability to negotiate appropriate terms and lead transactions teams is highly valued in major negotiations and transactions on behalf of Knight Frank.
