_Leasing campaign kicks off for office space in Exchange Tower

  • Owned by Primewest, a Centuria Group Company, the 40-storey premium office tower at 2 The Esplanade is located in the Elizabeth Quay precinct in the heart of Perth
  • At around 35,000sqm in total, the building currently has limited vacant space but a full high-rise floor of 1,000sq m and a 1,500sq m podium floor is coming up for lease

Perth, Australia – A LEASING campaign for the prestigious Exchange Tower in the Perth CBD is underway following the appointment of Knight Frank’s office leasing team.

Owned by Primewest, a Centuria Group Company, the 40-storey office building at 2 The Esplanade has 35,000sq m of space in total, but limited vacancy currently.

Ian Edwards of Knight Frank, who has been appointed to lease the vacant space with colleague Greg McAlpine, said there was a full high-rise floor of 1,000sq m and a 1,500sq m podium coming up for lease.

“The building is in a prime position just off St Georges Terrace and adjacent to Elizabeth Quay, which is the new epicentre of the Perth CBD,” said Mr Edwards.

“While Perth’s CBD office market has a 15 per cent vacancy rate, there is very little vacancy in the top end of the market, so we expect demand for the vacant space in the Exchange Tower to be strong.

“Many tenants in Perth are upgrading their office accommodation in order to attract staff, but the issue is that there is a shortage of premium space.

“Exchange Tower has always been attractive to professional services and boasts top tier firms in accounting, law, banking, stockbroking, finance and real estate. Knight Frank has been a happy tenant in Exchange Tower for over 20 years.

Exchange Tower offers 32 levels of commercial office space and parking in a central location, as well as views of the Swam River.

Building amenities include a concierge, lobby café, conference facilities, state-of-the-art end-of-trip facilities, 24-hour manned security and an outstanding fitness centre with membership available through the building outgoings.
