_Knight Frank continues successful partnership with Australian Computer Society

After successfully delivering Australian Computer Society's new workplace in Barangaroo, Sydney, Knight Frank Project Management & Building Consultancy ("PMBC") have recently completed the new ACS Melbourne workplace at 839 Collins Street, Docklands.

The 2,010 sqm Melbourne fitout was modelled off the Sydney office which successfully opened in March 2018, and provides extra co-working space to cater for start-up technology companies. The same design principles, along with similar levels of cutting edge audio visual experiences, were included in the innovative Melbourne workplace.

The same team of Knight Frank, WMK Architecture, MPA and Aston Consulting, led by Pauline McPhillips, Associate Director, Project Management & Building Consultancy, NSW, were engaged to deliver both projects.

After being welcomed by an interactive, state of the art video wall in the concierge/reception area, guests can move through to the spacious front-of-house area, which features collaboration zones, three meeting rooms, a boardroom, a member's lounge, a gaming zone, table tennis and a breakout space, which all lead through to a large, flexible event space.

The co-working space comprises over 120 workstations, multiple meeting rooms and quiet rooms, and a relaxation zone. Back-of-house operations holds another 30 workstations. Additional features include member's lockers, a parent's room and exquisite 360 degree views.

The project was delivered on time and under budget, opening to members on 25 July 2019.
