_Meet the Sydney Town Planning team

The Sydney Town Planning team have been involved with a number of significant projects since joining Knight Frank, including major rural subdivisions for several thousand new homes, strategic repositioning of sites, planning proposals and development approvals.

The team is highly experienced in a range of planning services including strategic planning, place-based planning, urban release planning, infrastructure planning, statutory planning assessment, due diligence and feasibility investigations and project management.

 

 

Mark Grayson – Director
Mark is Director of Knight Frank Town Planning Sydney and brings extensive private and public sector experience to Knight Frank, including his prior role as National Director for a commercial planning practice and senior planning positions in both NSW State Government and local government. With over 30 years’ experience, Mark is a qualified town planner who provides specific specialist advice and support at a senior level across all aspects of planning including long term strategies; site specific development options; submissions to Government; securing approvals and complex negotiations with stakeholders. Mark was also a Minister appointed member of the State Planning Panels for 9 years. Mark has a strong interest in developing strategies to assist clients both public and private in making long-term decisions on key assets.

  

  

Stephen Gouge – Planning Manager
Stephen is Knight Frank Town Planning Sydney’s Manager and has over 10 years’ experience as a Planner in NSW in both the public and private sector. Stephen has significant experience in planning advice and approvals for a broad range of development projects including: Development Applications; Regional and State Significant Development (SSD); and specialises in strategic advice, statutory and approvals processes. His experience includes working on both small and large scale residential, commercial, mixed use, greenfield/land release and education across NSW, with particular focus and experience in Central Sydney and metro areas. Stephen takes a strong interest in establishing the right approach to projects.

 

 

Aleks Milinkovic – Principal Statutory Planner
Aleks is Knight Frank Town Planning’s Principal Statutory Planner and has over 25 years’ experience in local government and private sector planning, including prior senior management positions. Apart from being a qualified town planner Aleks is also a qualified local government planning and development mediator. Aleks has significant experience in urban planning, stakeholder engagement (including community, state and local government and elected representatives) and development assessment for a broad range of plans, precincts and development projects. This has included the provision of statutory planning services and advice for various development proposals, due diligence and representing Councils as an expert planning witness in planning appeals before the Land and Environment Court.

 

 

Amy Vaughan – Principal Strategic Planner
Amy is Knight Frank Town Planning’s Principal Strategic Planner and has over 10 years’ experience in private consultancy and government. Amy has experience in both statutory and strategic planning roles, having worked on a wide range and scale of projects, including mixed use, residential, commercial, heritage and public spaces. Amy has significant experience in preparing and reviewing planning proposals and strategic plans, site development advice, preparing submissions, project management, and working with a variety of public and private stakeholders. Amy has a strong interest in revitalising urban areas and creating better public spaces.

 

 

Nicholas Cavallo – Senior Town Planner
Nicholas is Knight Frank Town Planning’s Senior Planner with over 8 years’ experience in local government and private consultancy. He has worked in senior statutory planning roles and has significant experience in preparing and assessing a range of development applications, including large scale residential accommodation; industrial and commercial projects; large scale subdivisions; education and health projects. Nicholas is an especially effective project manager and communicator, with a strong interest in working with clients to achieve good development outcomes.

 

 

Greg Sciortino – Town Planner
Greg is Knight Frank Town Planning’s Town Planner having recently completed his post-graduate qualification in urban and regional planning and is a qualified teacher. Greg has been involved in a wide variety of statutory and strategic projects, undertaking background research, preparing submissions, reviewing strategic documents, preparing development applications and presenting geographic information. Greg has a strong interest in strategic planning, sustainability and place making.

 

 

Rosa Pirreca – Team Assistant
Rosa is Knight Frank Town Planning’s Team Assistant and has extensive experience as a team and executive assistant within the insurance industry. Rosa has recently joined the team assisting in the day to day functioning of the practice and keeps the team on course. She is developing a strong interest in the many facets of planning.
