Three of the four operators – Langton, Stephen and James - have returned to Knight Frank after a stint at a separate agency, while Myles is a welcome newcomer to the business. All were previously at JLL.
Langton has 16 years’ experience in the industry. Focusing on the CBD and fringe office markets, his recent sales total in excess of $2 billion. James has nine years experience within the property industry. He started his career as a Sales Consultant and Auctioneer at Jellis Craig Real Estate, before moving into Commercial Agency with the Knight Frank Capital Markets team in Melbourne where he focused on CBD and fringe office markets.
Myles started his career in commercial property in September 2018 after completing a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Property and Valuation. His previous position was as Campaign Transaction Manager.
Knight Frank Partner and Head of Victoria James Templeton said the appointments would bolster Knight Frank’s Victorian Capital Markets business.
“The expansion of the team aligns with our overall strategy for growth in key and emerging markets to enable us to better service our clients and their assets,” he said.
In Victoria, we have seen a change in market sentiment, with an increase in activity so far this year.
“With these key hires, the Victorian Capital Markets team will be better enabled to handle the influx of assets coming to market.
“The expansion of our team will ensure we provide full coverage and service within our Victorian business to our valued clients, including privates, SMEs, developers, receivers and liquidators, in addition to our established institutional clients.”
James said the appointment of four new team members would take Knight Frank’s capital markets team in Victoria to new heights.
“It is with great pleasure that we welcome back Langton, Stephen and James to the Victorian Capital Markets team,” he said.
“All three operators have an extensive track record focusing on Victoria’s middle markets, as well as CBD and fringe office assets in Melbourne, and have a desire to build on the strong culture and success of the Knight Frank brand.”
Knight Frank Partner and National Head of Capital Markets Paul Roberts said the appointments would not only enhance Victoria’s Capital Markets team, but Knight Frank’s national Capital Markets business.
The national Capital Markets team have had a very successful two years with some high-profile transactions across all regions.
“Our new appointments in Victoria will complement the strong national capital markets team by further bringing depth and experience for the benefit of our clients on a national basis, and strengthen the collaboration across the states.
