1897 | Our first recorded business property sale, a ‘cycle machinery & plant’ business in London.
1897 | We launched our first international property marketing campaign for a boarding house on the Champs Elysees in Paris.
1915 | Cecil Chubb bought Stonehenge through us for £6,600 as a present for his wife.

1921 | We sold our first town, Reigate for £203,840.
1922 | We sold Winston Churchill’s house and in turn sell Chartwell to him.
1973 | We opened our doors in Australia.
1979 | We opened an office in New York, expanding our commercial and residential presence across North America.
1983 | Our Singapore office was established.
1986 | We sold the Qantas Centre in Sydney for $200 million, marking Australia’s largest single biggest property sale at that time.
1996 | We rebranded from Knight Frank & Rutley to Knight Frank to strengthen the firm’s global identity.
2005 | We advised on the development of London’s Olympic Village ahead of the 2012 Games.
2006 | We launched The Wealth Report.
2009 | We were appointed as leasing agent on the Empire State Building in Manhattan, NYC.

2017 | Our Prestige Residential specialists broke the suburb record in Killarney Heights, NSW.
2018 | We formed a strategic alliance with Bayleys in New Zealand.
2018 | We were appointed as manager of Rialto in Melbourne.

2018 | The Prestige Residential Sales team broke further suburb records in Burradoo and Bowral in NSW.
2019 | We were appointed to sell a Consolidated Pastoral Company property portfolio the size of Switzerland in Australia.
2019 | We sold 201 Elizabeth Street in Sydney for $630 million, marking our largest ever transaction in Australia.
2019 | We sold four residences over $40m at Crown Residences, One Barangaroo which will be ready in early 2021.
