I am Head of Residential Project Marketing in Australia, based in Melbourne.

What does your role entail?

I consult on, market and sell high-end luxury projects across Australia.

How did your career path lead to you working for Knight Frank?

Initially, I wanted to work in construction, but was offered a job with Mirvac selling apartments and houses in Port Melbourne. Now, I look after the Residential Project Marketing business in Australia, focusing on Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and the Gold Coast. 

What are the biggest opportunities you see in your job?

We are offering a selection of high-end projects working with developers like Crown Resorts, Landream and the Devitt Property Group. We believe this market will continue to strengthen as there has been an under supply of prestige projects in Australia. Supported by the fact that Australia’s ultra-wealthy population (defined as US$50m+) increased by 9% in the past year and is expected to grow by 37% in next five years. This is in addition to an extra 4,000 HNWIs calling Sydney home each year – the highest net inflows of HNWIs of all cities around the world (as cited in the latest edition of The Wealth Report).

What key projects are you currently marketing?

The Muse in Melbourne and One Barangaroo, Crown Residences in Sydney, later in the year we will be launching the Mandarin Oriental Residences, designed by the late Zaha Hadid, which will be the first branded residences project in Melbourne.

If you had a different job, what would it be?

A surfer – I love the ocean and surfing with family and friends. To me, it is one of the most relaxing places in the world and one that would allow you to see many places around the world. All my holidays seem to be around coastal areas.

What are your favourite pastimes/hobbies?

Surfing, cycling and generally being on or near a beach. A good restaurant and a bottle of wine is always a good option as well.

What is your number one work mantra or advice?

There is a solution for everything. Stay calm and work as a team not an individual.
